Description
Male bust, similar to a Gothic bust-reliquary, head and torso were joined together with a copper alloy dowel
Provenance
Discovered 2010 by the munitions recovery ahead of lignite mining Nochten near the former hunting lodge of Weißwasser, excavated by the Saxon State Office of Archaeology (Activity abbreviation WW-45) - restituted in January 2015 to the heirs of the original owner
