Provenance
Taken over in 1939 from the Hofärar holdings of paintings at the Hermes Villa into the Gemäldegalerie (7/GG/1939). Loaned to the Hungarian embassy in Vienna; not found in the 1949 general inventory (45/GG/1949); lost during the war (9/GG/1991, 9/GG/1992).
