Tobacco tin to the Prussian victories in the Seven Years' War.
The lid shows a full-length portrait of the king. On the underside twelve rococo cartouches, within them inscribed battle scenes. Maker's mark "GIESE FECIT ISERLOHN".
Provenance
Formerly Uckermark Museum, Prenzlau. Presumably lost during the war in 1945.
