Description
The print model shows the biblical spies Joshua and Caleb returning from the Promised Land. As proof of its fertility, they bring the people of Israel a huge bunch of grapes. The names of the returnees are noted above.
The model was supposedly used for two covers for chairs in the museum: cf. inv. no. 1843, 1869.
Provenance
Formerly the Lübben local history museum (entry in 1930). The collection was probably transferred to an inner-city relocation site in 1945. Probably lost during the war in 1945.
