Description
Wooden sphere, half encased in metal with a spur-like scale in a two-part wooden capsule. Instrument for testing beer quality.
Provenance
Formerly the Guben City Museum. Parts of the collection were apparently evacuated to Kossar (today: Kosierz) in 1942/43. The part of the collection that remained in Guben is said to have been looted between 1945 and 1948 and has been considered lost ever since.
