Buddha sits on the ground, absorbed in meditation; Urna; creole; in his right hand he holds a jewel (Nyoi Hojn); in his left hand a rattle stick (lost); wears a priest's cloak; hangings over his chest.

Acquired in 1908 by Herbert Ginsberg in Kyoto, Japan; 1908 - at least end of 1929 Ostasiatica-Collection Herbert Ginsberg, Berlin; after 1945 no longer in the possession of Herbert Ginsberg; circumstances of loss unknown - a loss as a result of Nazi persecution cannot be ruled out. Whereabouts unknown
