Collection Max Braunthal, Frankfurt, Germany, and Neuilly-sur-Seine, France (acquired at an unknown date); forced sale by Max Braunthal to Ludwig Gutbier (owner of the gallery Ernst Arnold) via André Schoeller on March 31, 1941 for 27,000 frs; apparently, all of these drawings were resold by Gutbier during WWII: 5 drawings went to W. Suhr, Hamburg (most likely the Commeter'sche Kunsthandlung, Wilhelm Suhr); 1 drawing went to an unknown buyer; current location unknown
