Description
Before the walls of a city (left) and a tent camp under a fort (right) the execution takes place. The offender is bound to the stake. On the left are the commanded to enforce soldiers. From the right is brought another criminal.
After the etching of Callot. L'Arquebusade, No. 12 of the large Misères de la Guerre.
