Frontal half-length portrait in armour, around the shoulders a red velvet fur-trimmed coat, on it the star of the Polish Order of the White Eagle. The painting inscribed on the reverse of the frame with "August der Starke" is considered a modified copy after the gallery painting by Luis de Silvestre (Gal. No. 768).
