Mrs Koch's brother, aged 30. Inscribed OWR (Ottilie Roederstein) with date under the signature.
Koch: "Dr. Alfred Rosenthal, man in his early thirties, headpiece. Scarce format, black hair black eyes, upturned lips, at the lower edge of the picture and Greek majuscules O MH ΔAREΣ ANƟΠOTOΣ OY ΠAIΔEYETAI. Painted in the 1920s, tempera, brown wooden frame."
