Description

MŠANO: signed J. Tissot, gilt, embossed frame, 600 Kč

Parke-Bernet: A young woman in a small open carriage drawn by a donkey, with a striped blue wrap over her knees, has stopped on a garden path reaching towards azaleas which border the path in full bloom in scarlet, white and pink; a gentleman stands almost in profile leaning on the donkey's back; behind them a woman in black with a small sailor hat mounted on another burro. Woods in the background conceal the sky. Signed at lower right J. J. TISSOT. (Hanak) [Marginal:] 750
