Description
Large green lotus leaves, pink and white flowers and buds rise from the water; kingfishers sit on the stem of a leaf; long Chinese inscription and stamp can be seen.

Acquired in 1908 by Herbert Ginsberg in Peking, China; 1908 - at least end of 1929 Ostasiatica collection Herbert Ginsberg, Berlin; after 1945 no longer in the possession of Herbert Ginsberg; circumstances of loss unknown - a loss as a result of Nazi persecution cannot be ruled out. Whereabouts unknown
