Description
The Wouwerman was a landscape painting with trees and meadows. In the foreground was a grazing grey horse.
Provenance
after 1918 Simon Cohn (1873-1936), Berlin; since 1936 Meta Cohn, née Löwenthal (1886-1942), Berlin; confiscated by the Nazis around 1942, probably by the Gestapo one day after Meta Cohn's deportation to Riga on 15 August 1942 from her flat; since then whereabouts unknown
