Description
On the left in the foreground a house with a red roof and a larch tree. On the right, an ascending meadow with a group of fir trees. The lake shines brightly against the dark Karwendel mountains. The sky is vividly cloudy.

Dr. H.v. FlotowLoss 1945, The work was stored from 1942 in the attic of the Hintermühle in the manor house of the von Flotow family (Stuer-Vorwerk estate) in Stuer at the southern end of Lake Plau. The family was informed that the manor house had been robbed, furniture and objects had been taken away
