Description
A man with big boots, big-brimmed hat, in the right a shotgun u. Holding a rope with two dogs paired with his left hand carries a white horse. On the right, a man who stands in front of a bay, which he holds by the reins, and a fox seen from behind.
Provenance
The paintings of the Bückeburg Gallery were lost during the occupation from 1945 to 1951 (see also: Verlorene Werke der Malerei, 1965, pages 78-79.)
