Because of Nazi reprisals and Verfolgungsmaβnahmen Walter and Vilma Kristeller 1936 decided to emigrate to New York. In September 1936, the "removals" were packaged and stored at the Berlin Spedition Gustav Knauer. Among the embedded objects, there were also various works of art. Vilma and Walter Kristeller emigrated in May 1938. The delivery of the "household goods" took place on 22 October 1937. The "belongings" arrived in May 1938 in New York, this and other pieces of art were missing
