Description
Cut décor: an emperor's throne under a canopy and the equestrian figure of Friedrich August II with the inscription: In Provinc. Iur. Sax. Provisor et Vicarius, 1741, J. O. Frid. Aug. Rex Pol. Dux Sax. Archim. et El. In the ornament of the foot a monogram.
Provenance
Until May 1945, the object was located in the Dresden City Hall (seat of the Dresden City Museum). It was stored there together with the other handicraft exhibits of the museum - packed in boxes - in the cellar. Lost since the end of the war.
