Makers' mark OM, presumably an assay mark of Dresden, engraved coat of arms of Johann Lehmann, around it the inscription: a) Johannes Lehmann Praetor Budissinensis.1684." Another ribbon bears the inscription: b) "Pie modeste ׀ Candide sobrie."
