Description

Small bronze brooche, completely rusted. The needle is rusted in the hinge and the foot, the strap covered with rust overgrowth. The bow shows two shield-shaped forms, which are decorated with a prong pattern. Imperial period.

Provenance

1885 from the collection of Dr. Dressel, Rome. Inventory ZV 458-2814 (1886-1919 / 20). Not listed in the 1950 inventory. Whereabouts unknown.
