Description
Flat, elongated flower pot, with amaryllis and lilies.Nr. 631 catalogue raisonné to the paintings of Gemälden Lovis Corinth and Charlotte Berend-Corinth. With picture of the painting.
Provenance
Because of Nazi reprisals and Verfolgungsmaβnahmen Walter and Wilma Kristeller 1936 decided to emigrate to New York. In September 1936, she was "removals" packaged and stored at the Berlin Spedition Gustav Knauer. Among the embedded objects, there were also various works of art. Vilma and Walter Kristeller emigrated in May 1938. The delivery of the "household goods" took place on 22 October 1937. The "belongings" was in May 1938 in New York, however, lacked this and other other works.
