Small cream jug belonging to a five-piece solitaire set; decorated like the coffee pot - oval medallion on each side: a. Diana with crescent moon on her forehead, holding bow and arrow, running left; with a dog by her side; b. Apollo standing by a pillar, holding the lyre with his right hand in front of him
Provenance
Gotha coffee-set (4 pieces) purchased in March 1929, from E. Kahlert, Ifta near Eisenach, for the sum of 250 marks.
