Mainz / Mainz railway station, Mainz (North Rhine-Westphalia), 1939
Relocation from Groß-Gerau to Mainz in 1934, as Sally Rosenthal had to give up his successful butcher's shop there. Emigration from Mainz, Kaiserstraße 27, on 2 September 1939, shortly afterwards witnessed looting of the removal goods from the dekm lift at Mainz station and auctioning off of the contents; loss of possessions (paintings, carpets, books, furniture).
