View of the Lombard Bridge
View over the north-eastern part of the Inner Alster and the Lombards Bridge. Completed in 1868 as a stone construction, the bridge spans the narrow section between the Inner and Outer Alster with three through arches. The houses on the western bank of the Outer Alster can be seen behind the Lombard Bridge with its characteristic cast-iron candelabras. The high dome of the Moorweiden Hall towers above its surroundings at the left edge of the picture. Back: Frame: with red lettering at the bottom: Inv. no. "1939,115", on the left a tag with the same Inv. no., above 3 stickers each with the title of the picture and artist, at the same height Inv. no. with red chalk ("1939,115"), red dot.
