Description
Along the rock face behind partly mossy, exposed rock slabs on the left, darkly overhanging towards the centre of the picture and crowned by thin bushes, a mountain stream flows rushing over a rock step and over the uprooted birch trunk that has fallen to the right, towards the front on the right; above, forest landscape, in the view an evening pinkish-yellow sky, rain showers in front of the rock face and moose by the water.
