Three-armed silver candlestick
The large, three-flame candelabra stands on a moulded, oval base, which supports a baluster shaft that widens slightly upwards in a conical shape. A chalice sits on the shaft, supporting a small, plate-shaped top with three candlestick arms. The slender, smooth candlestick arms first wrap around a cup-shaped ornamental piece in the centre of the top in several turns and then swing out to three sides in a further turn. Each chandelier arm carries a round eaves bowl with an open, vase-shaped spout for the light. Dotted on the edge of the base: "P.H." (in italics), on the calyx of the shaft: "N:4" and under the centrepiece of the insert: "N:5" (dotted).
