Description
In the centre of the boat-shaped bowl, which is decorated with pleats, is a baluster shaft supporting a small oval, canopy-shaped plate. The plate has six semi-circular incisions for inserting spoons and is decorated with silver tassels all round. In the centre of the plate is a small pedestal with a warrior figure. This figure has raised its right arm and is holding a hole-shaped protrusion for inserting the spreading spoon. The entire bowl is supported by a short shaft on an oval foot with stepped edges.
