Description
Findings on the reverse:
A yellowed rectangular label on the top left of the frame: "GFM (round emblem)“, next to it "BECKMANN / Stilleben mit Zigarren-/kiste 1926 OEL”, on the right side handwritten in black: “48”, next to it illegible blue inscriptions, above the device for the reverse protection a sticker remnant, on the top right a square label: "49"(? ), on the right in the upper third a yellowed note attached with rusty nails (handwritten): "Frankfurt a. M. / Beckmann / STILLEBEN MIT ZIGARETTENKISTE / 1926 / Kiste? W. Sch.? 40? / Bahr? K. 3?", underneath the indicated sticker: "DIENST VOOR SCHONE KUNSTEN' S Gravenhage", at the bottom right a partially torn off sticker standing on the head: "Gustav Knauer / 125.../Kunst-Abte...".
