Prayer board "tal u-matar"
Wooden panel in horizontal cartouche form with curved edge and rocaille decoration. Inscription in relief in the centre, in two lines with Hebrew letters. Remains of colour indicate painting. Hanging at the top centre of the reverse. On the reverse, pencil note to the inscription and transport label from Hasenkamp to Monumenta Judaica, Cologne 1963/64. Inscription in Hebrew: tal u-matar ("dew and rain"). Numbered order ‘M. 545’ (Society for Jewish Folklore).
