Description
Supraporte; belonging together with Inv. No. S 1349, S 1350 and S 1351; Description: Allegorical depiction, in the foreground a seated lady in an antique robe with an open music book on her lap, her gaze turned towards the sky, to the right behind her another female person looking at the notes, to the left and right behind them two more persons playing flutes, landscape in the background.
Provenance
Very probably came into the possession of the vault administration of the Ministry of Finance of the GDR from the possession of the Deutsche Reichsbank in the course of the opening of bank vaults after 8 May 1945; transferred by the vault administration of the Ministry of Finance of the GDR to the National Museums in Berlin in June 1953 and from there to the Dresden State Art Collections in October 1959.
