Findings on the reverse:
A round customs stamp (illegible) on the canvas top right, two further round customs stamps (illegible) on the canvas in the centre above the central strut, a round customs stamp on the stretcher top left partly on the folded canvas: presumably "ZOLL / II-30", next to it on the right handwritten: "Kat. No. 86", next to it stamp remnant covered by folded canvas (presumably frame size), next to it a printed, partially torn off label: "54 Champagner-Stil. / Coll. Günther Franke, Mün...", top right handwritten in red: "A oder 1", top left partially torn off yellowed label of the Flechtheim-Galerie: "B 12391 / D / E 4240 / Max Beckmann / Champagner", below handwritten in blue: "6", below BStGS-Inventar: "14379", on the horizontal co-test vine on the left handwritten in blue: “6”, handwritten in black: "MAX BECKMANN CHAMPAGNER / 208 (in pencil) PARIS 1930" (same black handwriting), next to it a stamp [the sower, the emblem of Franke], "G. F."
