Description
The painting shows a young woman in a three-quarter portrait to the right, looking over her right shoulder at the viewer. Her dark, loosely pinned up hair falls slightly over her exposed back. She is wearing a white blouse with a red throw over it, tied into a bow over her right shoulder, and a gold necklace.
The work is signed and dated "Canon 1858".
