Dr. Karl Neumeyer was a professor at Munich University. He and his wife avoided the threat of deportation by committing suicide. His two sons emigrated in 1935, Alfred Neumeyer to the USA, Friedrich Neumeyer to Sweden. Friedrich Neumeyer was a lawyer like his father, but specialised in a different field of law (intellectual property law instead of criminal law and international law).
