1929-1936 Auction house A.S. Drey, Munich. A.S. Drey was forced to auction its stock in 1936, the auction took place at Paul Graupe, Berlin, 17./18.6.1936 (Katalog Paul Graupe, Nr. 151, Lot 187. (illustrated). Afterwards Coll. Dr. Eugen Gschwind, Basel; later bought by the Collector Joseph Fremersdorf, Luzern (CH). In 1973 he sold several clocks among those the "Turmuhr" to the Landesmuseum Württemberg, Stuttgart. The Department of Provenance Research of the Landesmuseum Württemberg conducted a research self-initiatively and contacted the heirs via www.lostart.de. The clock was restituted bei the Landesmuseum Württemberg.
