Paintings

The University of Greifswald moved various artworks to Lübeck before 1945. From there, the items were transferred to the art repository at Celle Castle, which managed artworks from the East on a fiduciary basis. Archival materials, books and rector's office furnishings were returned to the university, but the paintings are considered lost.
