Objects from the former weapons collection of the ducal house of Saxe-Meiningen and from the collection of the Hennebergisch altertumsforschender Verein zu Meiningen (Henneberg Antiquarian Society of Meiningen).
History
On October 18, 1947, the Soviet military authorities confiscated items from the Historical Weapons Collection, the Glass and Mirror Collection, and the Silver Chamber, as well as furniture from Elisabethenburg Palace and the Crown Prince's Palace in 1954.
