Description
Ivory vest with white silk floral embroidery on the lapels, along the button placket, and bottom edge. Worn as a wedding vest in 1820.
Provenance
Formerly the Luckenwalde Local History Museum (inv no. IV.225). In April 1945, during the battle for the town, the museum building was destroyed and subsequently looted; only a few objects could be salvaged. Presumably lost during the war.
