Description
Wooden baroque-shaped panel, with leaf tendrils running around the edges. The central motif is two rising, facing lions, holding a ring, containing the year „1772“, below which is the inscription „Im Goldenen Ring“.
Provenance
Formerly the Luckenwalde Local History Museum (inv no. IV.77 - older numbering IX.3). In April 1945, during the battle for the town, the museum building was destroyed and subsequently looted; only a few objects could be salvaged. Presumably lost during the war.
