Description
Wooden panel, painted white with a black frame, on which a golden plank and the two-line inscription „Bakery / Wilhelm Nitsche.“ Donation from master baker Nitsche at Markt 1 in Luckenwalde (1927).
Provenance
Formerly the Luckenwalde Local History Museum (inv no. IV.338 / IV.89). In April 1945, during the battle for the town, the museum building was destroyed and subsequently looted; only a few objects could be salvaged. Presumably lost during the war.
