Lost in 1945. The approximately 200 paintings by the same artist [Karl Leipold] that had been stored in the flak tower at the Berlin Zoomust be considered irretrievably lost, as earlier efforts by the German Central Administrationfor Public Education in the Soviet occupation zone had been in vain.
