Description
Almost square target with a motif of a farmer supervising the hay harvest in the Guben area. Accompanied by the caption: „…n Defd. der König sucht die Wiese. 1780 d. 19. Juni“.
Provenance
Formerly the Guben City Museum. Parts of the collection were apparently evacuated to Kossar (today: Kosierz) in 1942/43. The part of the collection that remained in Guben is said to have been looted between 1945 and 1948 and has been considered lost ever since.
