Provenance
Listed in the Gardemeuble inventory of paintings (1882-1910); Listed in inventory no. 1 of 31 January 1920 as part of the 1924 settlement agreement between the Free State of Saxony and the former royal family, which were transferred to the state; In the report by Prof. Fichtner to the Reich governor on 27 December 1943, point 6 states the removal of the overdoors. The removal of the three overdoors from the Minister's Room (Room 402) with a further 19 overdoor paintings and 12 overdoor frames to the site at Brauna Castle on 12 June 1944 is on record; According to the files, they were lost at the reloation site.
