probably gilded, 2 light fittings, electrified at the earliest 1897
Provenance
Dresden Castle, Bärengarten (Bears' Garden) wing, 2nd floor, living room or study of the Emperor; Listed in inventory no. 1 of 31 January 1920 as part of the settlement agreement between the Free State of Saxony and the former royal house of 1924, which is assigned to the state; An exact date of removal is not on record, the measures were completed in the summer of 1944. The mirror sconces were probably removed from storage on 26 April 1944 and taken to the Rammenau Castle relocation site; Nothing is known about the circumstances of the loss of this object. A loss in connection with the events of the 2nd World War is suspected.
