Description
According to the publication "Zerstört, entführt, verschollen. Die Verluste der preußischen Schlösser im Zweiten Weltkrieg", the dimensions of this work are 116 x 144 cm.
Since 1796, the work of Andrea Celesti can be traced in the Neues Palais. Attributed by Poensgen (1935) to Augustin Terwesten. The authorship of a Venetian painter of lesser rank (Daniel Ens?) is also conceivable.
