The GDNÄ archives were packed into 143 boxes and one package. All boxes are labeled “K S I Leipzig No. ...”, 55 of which also bear an “N”. In 1945, the area around Mutzschen was occupied by the Red Army. It became impossible to transport the stored objects back.
