Weites Gebirgsland mit einströmenden Wassern. In der Mitte der babylonische Turm vor mehreren Pinien, davor Volk mit Brandopfer. Rechts vorne viele Leichen. Bezeichnet links unten: Ludw. Willroider München (Inventarbeschreibung).
Provenance
1888 as a gift from the publisher Rudolf Mosse; lost since World War II, last documented location is the Alte Pinakothek Munich, but an undocumented later recovery is assumed, until 1944 demonstrably movements
