The collection of original claimant’s uncle was confiscated from his Vienna apartment and subsequently auctioned off at the Dorotheum, with the exception of five paintings that were removed to the Kloster Quiggen bei Bregenz, Austria. A Dr. Voigt(?) may have purchased the painting at the Dorotheum sale.
