Provenance
Confiscated from apartment of claimant's father at 12 rue Desaix, Paris after the Picard family fled the apartment in 1941. An affidavit from the concierge of the building asserts that Germans emptied apartment in June 1943. The exact details of the theft are not known. Paris. France.
