18th century French frame. Described on alternate list as measuring approximately 80 x 125 cm
Provenance
Claimant's parents, formerly of Uraniastrasse 2, Vienna I, placed their art collection in lifts for shipment. The shipment was held up by the outbreak of World War II, and the lifts never left Vienna. The exact circumstances of the theft are not known.
