Provenance
Prior to fleeing on the USS Washington from Le Havre to New York City in February 1939, claimant's father arranged for the property from their house at Princesnstarsse 14, Mariendorf, Berlin to be shipped to the US. The contents of the lift van were stolen. The exact circumstances of the theft are unknown. Berlin. Germany.
