Claimants’ grandfather owned a large art collection in Holland, several of which were deposited for safekeeping at the Wacker-Bondy warehouse at 236 Blvd. Raspail in Paris and subsequently seized by the "Einsatzstab Reichsleiter Rosenberg" (ERR) in 1942. This painting was reported to have entered Göring's collection in 1942
